Packing! What's your method?

When packing to move how do you do it? Are you alone? Have some help? Have someone do it for you?

Where do you start? The bedrooms? Bathroom(s)? Kitchen?

Do you mark each box? Do you use different kinds of boxes so you "just know" what's in them?

I have moved several times before, however, it was just myself and my things. I have a family now...a husband, daughter and a son. I've accumulated a few things over the years, okay a few is probably a HUGE understatement, but you get the idea.

I usually am pretty good about knowing where to start and what to do but this time I'm somewhat at a loss... I want to DE-CLUTTER. However, all my life I grew up around those that kept almost everything. You know with the "I could use this for..." or the "Oh I need that for this..." kind of mentality.

I want to BREAK AWAY from that. I don't want to have all this stuff in my house if it truly isn't needed and won't be used. I mean what's the point?!

I'm going to have to dig deep inside myself and really let go of a lot...its going to be hard but I'm determined to do it. Not only for myself but my family. Especially my children. I don't want them growing up surrounded by clutter and crap. Yes, they're surrounded by love which is important but they don't need the added crap, right?!

And the cherry on top of the whole thing... I can't allow my husband to help pack anything but what is truly his because he may not keep things that need to be kept. Not only that but I would have NO idea where anything was and when it came to unpacking, it would be a total nightmare... Looks like I better get started now! haha

I had a wrap party for Wrap and Lose on Thursday. I set up for the wedding show on Friday for Your Wedding Day Your Way and Wrap and Lose. Overly sensitive?

For those that have children or work with children; how do you deal with your child that is overly sensitive?

My son will be 2 years old in April and I feel he's overly sensitive. It is so frustrating some times. I never experienced this with our daughter so its totally new to me.

When you tell him, "No." it is as if you have crashed his entire world. I'm not kidding. His bottom lip basically touches his knees and the look in his eyes is heart breaking!

Lets not forget the tears and the cry that goes along with that. That is like the icing on the cake.

It doesn't matter how you say no or what you're saying no to, it is the end of the world for him when he hears it.

There are times he'll come to me, lip out, tears falling, crying and screaming and demand to be picked up. By demand he'll stand with his sad face staring at me and his arms up in the air waiting until I do pick him up.

I of course pick him up to comfort him but some times I'm in the middle of things that he has to wait a moment and it makes it worse.

Any tips or tricks on how to prevent his world from crashing when telling him no or keeping him from doing something he shouldn't be doing??

Smoothie? Protein Shake?

What is your all time favorite smoothie recipe?

I'm looking for some smoothie recipes that are affordable and tasty! So, please share any that you have liked.

I'm on a kick to be healthier and more organized and I feel this will help with the best of both worlds. : )

What about your favorite protein shake mix?

Again looking for something that is tasty and affordable.

I am on a budget after all and a protein shake is not a necessity. I would definitely like to be able to have one every couple days though!

If you have any other healthy tips you'd like to share, please feel free!

Can't live without?

What are the items currently in your life that you could NOT live without for a week?

What about items you couldn't live without for a month?

Picture your future plans to move, you would be only able to take what you absolutely HAVE TO HAVE.

What would your items include?

Aside from your clothing, personal hygiene products etc what would you NOT be able to leave behind?
